About this course
Anglotec's summer programme for teenagers aged 12 to 18 runs from June to August, for 2 to 12 weeks. Students have 14 hours of English classes in the mornings. Afternoon and evening activities are included: sports, beach activities, films in the school cinema, tech and AI workshops, arts and crafts, boating and a disco. There are half-day local trips on Mondays and Wednesdays and a full-day excursion every Saturday, to places such as York, Whitby, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and London. An optional Sunday excursion costs extra. Students take a test at the start and at the end and receive a certificate. Juniors stay with experienced local host families; the course with homestay costs £620 a week.
