General English (Summer, Jun–Aug)

Anglotec's General English course runs Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 12:30, for 15 hours a week. This is the summer price, for courses from June to August; the school charges £220 a week in winter, £240 in spring and autumn and £290 in summer. Summer is the busiest season, with the beaches next to the school and weekend trips to York, Leeds, Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay. Students who study for two weeks or more join the free weekday activity programme, and the Conversation Club (16:00 to 17:00) is free. Weekend excursions cost extra. Homestay with a local family is £230 a week, with breakfast, a packed lunch and dinner. Students receive a personal study report and a certificate at the end of the course.
