About this course
This course adds English Plus to Anglotec's morning General English: 15 hours from 09:00 to 12:30, then 5 hours of a chosen topic from 14:00 to 15:00. Topics include General and Academic IELTS preparation, Business English, presentation and negotiation skills, workplace communication, Academic English and TOEIC. This is the winter price, for courses from December to February (£220 for General English plus £45 for English Plus). Winter is the cheapest time to come, with smaller classes, Christmas markets in York and quiet coastal walks. Students who study for two weeks or more join the free weekday activity programme, and the Conversation Club (16:00 to 17:00) is free. Weekend excursions cost extra. Homestay with a local family is £230 a week, with breakfast, a packed lunch and dinner.
