Culture by the Coast (50+)

Culture by the Coast is for students aged 50 and over who want to combine English lessons with a British holiday. There are 15 hours of English classes each morning. Afternoons include meetings with local friendship groups on Wednesdays and Thursdays, half-day local trips on Mondays and Tuesdays, and a full-day excursion on Saturdays, all in the price. Trips include York, Whitby, Robin Hood's Bay and Rievaulx Abbey, plus guided tours, coastal walks and chocolate making. An optional Sunday excursion costs extra. The school adjusts activities for students with reduced mobility. Courses run all year, for 2 to 4 weeks. With homestay or a local guest house, the price is £620 a week.
