General English and IELTS Preparation run at 15 hours a week. Add 6 hours of skills and focus classes for the 21-hour Intensive course, or 10 hours for the 25-hour Super Intensive. Focus classes change monthly and include Business English, writing, speaking, listening, reading, functional language, current affairs and graphic design. Every course includes a placement test on arrival, course materials, regular progress tests with tutor feedback, 24/7 student support and an end-of-course certificate. Courses start any Monday with a minimum stay of two weeks. One-to-one lessons are £70 an hour (minimum five hours). Liverpool also offers an English and Professional Football programme with a local club.

Homestay is half board on weekdays and full board at weekends, in single or twin rooms, reached by public transport. Residence options are city-centre halls within walking distance of the school: single en-suite rooms with a shared kitchen and lounge, or a self-contained studio with its own kitchenette. Airport transfers from Liverpool or Manchester airports can be arranged, and are required for students under 18. NCG also runs a student app for timetables, accommodation details, activity bookings and direct messages to staff.

Liverpool is a maritime city known for The Beatles, two Premier League football clubs and the Royal Albert Dock, and is one of the more affordable cities in the UK for students. The school organises regular activities such as stadium tours, city walking tours, bowling, go-karting and FIFA competitions, plus weekend trips with local travel partners to the Lake District, North Wales, Chester and York. Staff speak Arabic, Mandarin, Portuguese and Spanish as well as English, though students are encouraged to use English throughout their stay.
