General English (Spring, Mar–May)

Anglotec's General English course runs Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 12:30, for 15 hours a week. This is the spring price, for courses from March to May; the school charges £220 a week in winter, £240 in spring and autumn and £290 in summer. Spring brings longer days and fewer visitors than summer, with walks along the coast and May Day in Whitby. Students who study for two weeks or more join the free weekday activity programme, and the Conversation Club (16:00 to 17:00) is free. Weekend excursions cost extra. Homestay with a local family is £230 a week, with breakfast, a packed lunch and dinner. Students receive a personal study report and a certificate at the end of the course.
