Students choose between standard single rooms with shared bathroom facilities or upgraded ensuite single rooms with private bathrooms (+£50/week additional), all with linen provided, comfortable furnishings, study desk, wardrobe storage. 24/7 security provided.
University Library Teaching Spaces & Ravelin Sports Centre
English language courses delivered in Portsmouth University Library featuring multiple modern classrooms holding maximum 15 students per room, equipped with interactive whiteboards, audiovisual equipment, flexible furniture arrangements perfect for pair work, group discussions, presentations, and collaborative learning activities. University Library location just 1 minute walk from Ravelin Sports Centre and directly connected to Students Union building provides easy access to all campus facilities. Outstanding Ravelin Sports Centre offers state-of-the-art multi-sport with swimming pool.
Innovative Life Skills Programmes - AI and Entrepreneurship
Stand-out English & Life Skills courses provide 20 hours weekly lessons offering accelerated self-improvement and real-world skill development preparing students for future success. English & AI Programme (minimum B1 intermediate level required, £1,050/week) demystifies Artificial Intelligence making it accessible and practical tool rather than intimidating unknown technology. Students use AI platforms to enhance English learning, spark creative writing projects, boost presentation skills, build problem-solving confidence, and develop critical thinking about technology’s role in modern society
Portsmouth Maritime City & Comprehensive Excursion Programme
Portsmouth blends learning, culture, and coastal fun on England’s south coast. Explore Spinnaker Tower and the Historic Dockyard, relax on Southsea beach, and enjoy parks and attractions.
