As aulas são construídas em torno do falar e do fazer, não do silêncio e das planilhas. Você passará o tempo da aula discutindo, trabalhando em situações reais e construindo o hábito de pensar em inglês em vez de traduzir mentalmente. Os níveis vão do iniciante ao avançado, e cada escola faz um teste antes da primeira aula para que você entre no grupo certo.
De que depende o preço
Nas escolas que listamos, o inglês geral custa atualmente £26 a £1.425 por semana, nas escolas 40 do Reino Unido que oferecem cursos 194. Trata-se de uma vasta gama porque abrange produtos muito diferentes sob o mesmo rótulo: um curso de grupo padrão num extremo, e uma estadia residencial ou um programa executivo individual no outro. A maioria dos cursos diurnos em grupos padrão custa algo entre £ 175 e £ 378 por semana. O que determina o preço: horas de aula por semana, tamanho das turmas (minigrupos e aulas particulares custam mais por hora), se a acomodação está incluída e a localização da escola.
Quanto tempo os cursos duram e quando eles começam
A duração do curso varia de uma semana até um ano inteiro, e você escolhe o bloco que combina com seu visto, seu orçamento ou quanto tempo você pode ficar ausente. A maioria das escolas que oferecem inglês geral têm datas de início contínuas, normalmente todas as segundas-feiras, para que você não fique esperando por um período fixo. Em vez disso, um número menor tem datas fixas de admissão, geralmente escolas que planejam aulas em torno de um horário de grupo.
Comparando cursos
Depois de saber aproximadamente quantas semanas você precisa e seu orçamento, os detalhes que separam um curso de outro são horas por semana (15 é o padrão, as opções intensivas variam de 20 a 30), tamanho das turmas e se a escola possui credenciamento do British Council. Compare-os juntamente com o preço, em vez do preço por si só, uma vez que um curso mais barato com menos horas de ensino por semana não é automaticamente o melhor negócio.
